Privacy Policy

Summary

LumaWe works on your iPhone and Apple Watch. We don’t run servers that receive your data, we have no accounts, and we don’t sell, share or use your data for advertising or tracking.

What stays on your device

Your profile, session history, how you felt before and after a session, notes about you, and anything you say or type in LumaWe are stored only on your device. Notes about you are encrypted on the device. Speech is turned into text on the device and the audio is never saved.

Apple Health and Apple Watch

With your permission, LumaWe reads sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, breathing rate, mindful minutes and mood from Apple Health to suggest sessions and show your progress. It can save mindful minutes and mood to Apple Health. During a session, your Apple Watch sends heart rate to your iPhone.

Health data is never sent off your device, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties. You can change what LumaWe can read or write at any time in the Health app.

Downloads

The first time you use the natural voice, LumaWe downloads the voice model from Hugging Face. The download doesn’t include any of your data.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We don’t see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether your subscription is active.

Things you paste in

If you paste notes from ChatGPT or another assistant, they are stored on your device like notes you write yourself. LumaWe doesn’t send anything to those services; you move the text yourself.

Deleting your data

In LumaWe, go to Profile › Delete my data to remove everything LumaWe stored. Deleting the app also removes its data. Records saved to Apple Health stay there until you delete them in the Health app.

Children

LumaWe is not intended for children under 13.

Not medical care

LumaWe is a wellness tool for calm, sleep and focus. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and is not a replacement for professional care. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services.
